Accessibility Statement

NCL Private Healthcare is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard.

1. What we do to make this site accessible

  • All images include descriptive alternative text.
  • Colour contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimums for text and interactive elements.
  • The site is navigable by keyboard alone.
  • Interactive elements have accessible labels and ARIA attributes where required.
  • Forms include visible labels and error descriptions.
  • The site respects the prefers-reduced-motion media query — animations are reduced or removed for users who have enabled this preference.
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality using browser controls.
  • The site does not use content that flashes more than three times per second.

2. Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas that may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA and are working to address them:

  • Some third-party embedded components (e.g. payment processor UI) may not be fully within our control.
  • PDF documents generated for order confirmations and quotations may not yet be fully accessible to screen reader users.
  • The 3D cylindrical gallery on the homepage may not be fully operable by keyboard.

5. Technical information

This website is built using Next.js, React 19, and Tailwind CSS. It is designed to be responsive and mobile-friendly. We test across major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and on mobile devices.

6. Compliance status

We believe this website is substantially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to close the known gaps listed above. This statement will be updated as improvements are made.
